I believe in Jesus Christ and he is my higher power.
I have felt very uncomfortable talking about Jesus as my Higher Power for fear of being judged.
This episode was one of the most difficult for me to do. I have been fighting it.
That Sober Guy Podcast is based on recovery, and it always will be. However in order to stay true to myself, my audience, and my recovery, I feel like I must acknowledge my Higher Power Jesus Christ, and fully commit to a spiritual relationship with him.
I had a lot of emotions in releasing this episode
- Fear that I will be judged and misunderstood.
- Hope that I can inspire people to follow their heart in their spiritual lives
- Uncomfortable making myself vulnerable in this way.
