One Year No Beer with Ruari Fairbairns

Ruari Fairbairns One Year No Beer

On this episode of Sober Guy Radio, Ruari Fairbairns talks about making sobriety cool with the One Year No Beer Challenge.

Ruari Fairbairns used to be a wild drinker in a culture where alcohol is accepted and even expected. As he grows older and starts a family, he realizes he can’t have a happy marriage and a successful career if he continues to drink. He decides to quit, but he finds trying to tell someone he won’t join them for a beer is next to impossible. This is when he and a friend come up with the idea of the One Year No Beer, a challenge for people who want to try a sober lifestyle but don’t have the support from family and friends.
