Wes Geer is one of the founding members of the band (hed)p.e. and later played guitar for the band Korn from 2010 – 2013. Wes is also the CEO of Rock to Recovery, an organization that works with addicts, veterans, troubled teens, and victims of abuse. Rock to Recovery offers the gift of music while those involved are going through recovery. Wes also shares some of his battle with addiction, the early days of (hed)p.e., touring with Korn, how he started Rock to Recovery, and what life is like today clean and sober.

Talking to Wes was like talking to an old friend. He is down to earth, funny at times, and seasoned in his recovery. The gift of music that is passed on to those through the Rock to Recovery platform is truly amazing. It inspires those who experience it to feel young again, remember what it is like to be creative, and express themselves like they have never done before. Most participants have little or no musical background.
