Alcohol was the solution to my problems until it became the problem.
I was afraid, I was ashamed of my drinking. I felt lonely and isolated and I was ashamed of my feelings.
My journey has taught me what it really means to be sober, and what it is to content.

Erik is in recovery. He is also gay. He has been sober Since August 2nd and he just celebrated 3 months in recovery. His entire life revolved around going to work and coming home and drinking. He explains it as “I wasn’t living.”
Erik feels great and hopes to use his experience to help other people.
